I built Signature Smile because I watched people I care about — family members, close friends — go years without dental treatment they genuinely needed. Not because they didn't want it. Not because they were careless about their health. Because the quotes they received were simply impossible. $18,000. $34,000. Numbers that felt designed to shut a door.

I knew that world-class dental care existed abroad — clinics using the same Nobel Biocare implants, the same E.max ceramics, the same diagnostic technology as top US practices. But finding those clinics, knowing which ones were truly trustworthy, and navigating a medical trip to another country alone? That process was confusing and frightening enough to stop most people before they started.

So I went. I visited clinics in Guatemala personally. I sat in the chairs, reviewed the credentials, asked the hard questions about sterilization protocols and implant warranties and what happened if something went wrong. I built relationships with dentists who shared my standard for patient care — not just clinical skill, but genuine communication and transparency.

before recommending it.

Our network isn't built by reading websites or reviewing brochures. Every clinic in our network has been visited, evaluated, and verified by us in person before your name is ever connected to it.

We physically visit every clinic before adding it to our network. We tour the facility, observe the workflow, meet the clinical team, and evaluate the patient environment — not from a photo, but from a chair.

Credential Review
We verify dentist training at US and European institutions, review board certifications, confirm years of experience, and check specializations. We ask about continuing education and hold our partners to that standard.

Technology Audit
We verify CBCT 3D cone beam imaging, digital X-ray, and digital impressions are in place. We confirm implant brands (Nobel Biocare, Straumann), ceramic materials (E.max), and sterilization protocols meet international standards.

Vetting isn't a one-time event. We review patient feedback after every trip, follow up on outcomes, and conduct re-evaluations. Clinics can be — and have been — removed from our network when standards slip.
